Priorwood and Harmony Gardens
Priorwood garden (NTS).
A garden with herbaceous borders that are the source of the flowers which are dried on the premises. The orchard has a collection of historic apple trees spanning 200 years.
Visitors can learn the craft of dried flower arranging, and browse among the unique range of dried flowers. They can purchase all they need to do their own arrangements, or relax in the orchard .
Harmony Garden (NTS). Set around a 19th cent house (not open) named after the Jamaican plantation where the owner had made his fortune. It has excellent views of the Abbey and Eildon hills. It has herbaceous borders, lawns, vegetable and fruit areas. It is renowned for its sense of peace and tranquillity.
